The program runs from June 25th until the production is presented with four performances on August 2-4, 2018.
The program hours are generally Monday-Friday from 8am-2:00pm, except during the last two weeks, when weekend rehearsals will also be required. The daily program is held at the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School’s air-conditioned and state-of-the-art auditorium. In addition to rehearsing the show, students participate in warm-ups, team building exercises, arts-related activities and a series of workshops led by staff, guest artists, and speakers!

Dance: Ballet, Tap, Hip-hop, Jazz, African Dance
Music: Voice, Sight Reading, Instruments, Hip-hop Technical Theater: Stage Design, Lighting Design, Costuming, Set Painting & Theatrical Makeup
Miscellaneous: Sign Language, Karate, Comics, etc.
Tuition and Fees
The cost of the summer program is $850 per student. This fee includes tuition, Prince Pizza party, dinner on August 4th, an “All Access Pass” for one admission to each performance, a 1-line “well wish” in the program book, car wash tickets, basic stage makeup, most costume pieces, and a show t-shirt. For two or more siblings, a $100 discount is offered for the second (or more) child.
Need-based scholarships are available, and tuition may be prepaid in installments via PayPal.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of auditions; no child will be allowed to audition without a deposit. A $25 refundable deposit is collected when distributing script books. Returned script books that are not damaged will result in a $25 refund. Deposits will be kept for script books that are returned damaged or not returned to staff at the end of the program. Payment in full is due by start of program on June 25th.
